Miguel Aldahondo estaba entre los primeros participantes del Programa de Eruditos ARGO de la Universidad de West Florida ( UWF). Como un experto de ARGO, Aldahondo será elegible para recibir asesoria de mentores y soporte becario. Los expertos de ARGO son identificados en el décimo grado y son sostenidos y asesorados a travéz de su carrera en high school. En los próximos dos años, UWF buscará alcanzar un fondo de donación de $1 millon para proveer soporte a los eruditos que atienden UWF , el cual combinado con otros recursos de ayuda pagará los estudios, casa y comida y gastos de útiles asi como una experiencia de estudios en el extranjero. Aldahondo es un estudiante en Pensacola High School (PHS). Cuando el programa de Eruditos ARGO fué establecido, esta escuela estaba calificada como la octava en el pais por "Newsweek", por ofrecer coursos provocativos a nivel de escuela superior (High School). PHS es el hogar del Programa del International Baccalaurate y tiene más de 1500 alumnos. ~ Miguel Aldahondo was among the first participant in the ARGO Scholars Program provided by the University of West Florida (UWF). As an ARGO Scholar, Aldahondo will be eligible to receive mentoring and scholarship support. ARGO Scholars are identified in the tenth grade and are supported and mentored through their high school careers. Over the next two years, UWF will seek to build a $1 million endowment fund to provide scholars who attend UWF scholarship support that, when combined with other sources of aid, will pay for all tuition, room and board and book expenses, as well as fund a study-abroad experience.
Aldahondo is a student at Pensacola High School (PHS). When the ARGO Scholars Program was established, this school was ranked by “Newsweek” as eighth in the nation for offering challenging courses at the high school level. PHS is the home of the International Baccalaureate Program and has more than 1500 students.

El 3 de Agosto, Jorge Malavet, abrió El Caribe Lounge y Grill en el 613 N. Old Corry Field Road en Pensacola. El Caribe sirve auténtica cocina Caribeña con platos como "alcapurritas, empanadillas, rellenos de papa, pasteles, arroz con gandules, arroz con pollo y más. Además, El Caribe tiene fiestas bailables los Viernes y Sabados de las 9 p.m. hasta las 2 a.m. presentando música de merengue, bachata, reggeatón y cumbia. Malavet es originario de Ponce, Puerto Rico y es un oficial naval con casi veinte años de servicio militar. "El Caribe quiere ser el mejor lugar para comida Latina y diversión en la region" dijo él. La cocina del Caribe está abierta de Martes a Domingo de las 2 p.m. a las 7 p.m., el Lounge está abierto hasta medianoche. ~ On August 3, Jorge Malavet, opened El Caribe Lounge and Grill located at 613 N. "El Caribe aims to become the premier location for Latin food and entertainment in the region," he said.
