El dia de hoy hay tantas opciones de recreaciòn que los padres descuidan una parte vital del desarrollo del niño--la lectura.  Como padres, tutores  y maestros nunca es muy tarde o muy temprano para fomentar alfabetizaciòn en su niño.

Sabia Ud. que simplemente la lectura modelada puede estimular senderos para logros acadèmicos en su niño? Los pequeños imitaràn la lectura, desarrollando asi habilidades importantes tales como comprensiòn, lenguage, sonidos y equiparacion de grabados.

Unos consejos sencillos para fomentar alfabetizaciòn en su hogar:

-          Dedique 15-30 minutos todas las noches antes de dormir para leer.

-          Planee un viaje familiar, cada semana a la biblioteca local

-          Para encontrar una biblioteca cercana visite htth://www.cityofpensacola.com/library/ 

-          Estando ahi chequee el itinerario de la Unidad Mòvil.

-          Haga la lectura divertida usando voces ridículas

-          Ofrèscase de voluntaria para leer en la clase de su niño

-          Rotule los objetos en su casa

Today, there are so many entertainment options that parents may find themselves overlooking one vital piece of child development--reading!  As parents, guardians and teachers it is never too late or too early to promote literacy in your child.  Did you know that simply modeling reading can stimulate pathways for academic achievement in your child?  Little ones will imitate reading, thereby developing important skills such as comprehension, language, phonics, and print matching.

Here are some simple tips to promote literacy in your household:
