Desde Octubre 2006, Francesca Maximé ha estado reportano las noticias en WEAR-TV.

Recientemente, Francesca aceptó bailar en la fiesta de gala para recaudar fondos  “Dancing with the Stars” para el Ballet Pensacola.  El evento recaudó más de $70.000 para ayudar a dar acceso a las artes a individuos necesitados.  Bailar no es nuevo para ella, pero entrenar para el evento probó ser todo un reto.

“Aprender la Rumba fué lo mejor que pude haber hecho para mi cintura, mi espíritu y reconectar con mis raices Latinas,” dijo ella..

La mamá de Francesca es Italiana y su papá es Haitiano y Dominicano, ella nació en Chicago y creció en Masachussetts.  Obtuvo su titulo en Inglés en la Universidad de Harvard y ha trabajado como reportera, ancla y productora n New York, Masachussetts y Pensylavnia.

Aqui en el Gulf Coast, es miembro de varias organizaciones para estar involucrada y ayudar a la comunidad. El ancla de noticias Latina puede ser vista todas las noches a las 10 p.m. en al Canal 3.

Since October 2006, Francesca Maximé has been reporting the news on WEAR-TV.

Recently, Francesca agreed to dance for the “Dancing with the Stars” gala fundraiser for Ballet Pensacola.  The event raised more than $70,000 to help provide access to the performing arts to financially disadvantaged individuals.  Though dancing is hardly new to her, training for the event trained for the event proved to be a challenge.

“Learning the Rumba was the best thing I could have done for my waistline, my spirit, and re-connecting with my Latin roots,” she said.

Francesca, who’s mother is Italian and father is Haitian and Dominican, was born in Chicago and grew up in Massachusetts.  She earned a degree in English from Harvard University and has worked as a reporter, anchor and producer in New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

Here on the Gulf Coast, she is a member of various organizations to stay involved with and help the community.  The Latina news anchor can be seen nightly at 10 p.m. on Channel 3.
