PJC Offers Registered Nurses Advanced Certificate

Pensacola Junior College is offering an advanced technical certificate in Operating Room Nursing for registered nurses starting in January.  Hospital operating rooms are highly specialized areas that demand particular skills from the surgical team. The advanced technical certificate is designed for the registered nurse who has no previous experience in the operating room.  At completion of the one-semester course, the operating room nurse graduate can practice independently at the beginning level in a perioperative position. Class is held primarily online accompanied with on-campus labs at the Warrington campus, and clinicals are completed at area hospitals. Register online at www.pjc.edu or in person at any PJC campus.
