En el verano del 2006, conocí a un esforzado trabajador oriundo indio maya de Guatemala, con un corazón tan grande como infinito. Adrian y yo nos hicimos rapidamente buenos amigos, compartiendo el respeto y el amor hacia la cultura nativa de America y su gente.

En el 2003, organize la 1era Asociación Nacional de Intertribus, siendo esta una organización sin fines de lucro; con el propósito de asistir a los indios nativos americanos. Adrian me pregunto si podria asistirlo en conseguir cuadernos y lápices para los niños de Guatemala. Con la ayuda de la Tienda de 2da “San Vicente de Paul” pudimos conseguir esos materiales. Adicionalmente fuimos bendecidos con unas computadoras Pentium IV. Teniamos lo suficiente para montar dos Centros de Enseñanza en dos pueblos de Guatemala. Adrian ha estado solicitando a cada persona que conocia, ayuda para la escuela de niños mayas en estos diez años que esta aquí, más no ha tenido respuesta.

Vendí el auto familiar para conseguir suficiente dinero para mi primer viaje misionero y a este punto, he agotado todos mis ahorros para poder levantar mi organización.

Hemos llevado buena asistencia a diferentes reservaciones indias; Rosebud en Dakota del Sur,Santee en Nebraska, Montegut, Louisiana y Red Cloud Indian School en Dakota del Sur. Tenemos las computadoras listas para salir pero no hay dinero para enviarlas. ¿Nos ayudarias a dar la oportunidad a los niños de estas escuelas mayas a adentrarse el el siglo 21 con sus computadoras?

First Nations Intertribal Association, Inc.(en ingles), tiene su cuenta en el Banco Wachovia lista a recibir tu generosa ayuda, juntos podemos hacer la diferencia. Ayudenos a hacer llegar estas computadoras a los niños.

In the summer of 2006, I met a hardworking Mayan Indian from Guatemala with a heart as big as all out doors.  Adrian and I became fast friends with our mutual respect for and love of Native American cultures and people.

In 2003, I organized First Nations Intertribal Association, Inc., which is a non-profit with the purpose of assisting Native American Indians.  Adrian asked if I could assist him in obtaining notebooks and pencils for the children of Guatemala.  With the assistance of St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores we are gathering these supplies.  Additionally, we have been blessed with a number of Pentium IV computers.  We have enough to set up two small learning centers in two villages in Guatemala.  Adrian has been pleading with everyone he meets to help him help the Mayan school children for all of the ten years he has been here.  But till now, there have been no takers.

I sold my family car to get enough money for my first mission trip and since have depleted all my savings to get my organization off the ground.  We’ve brought good assistance to several reservations; the Rosebud in South Dakota, Santee in Nebraska, Montegut, Louisiana and Red Cloud Indian School in South Dakota.  We have the computers ready to go but no money to send them.  Won’t you please help us bring a handful of Mayan school children into the 21st Century?
