Best Buy de pensacola invita a la Comunidad Latina a que conozca al vendedor electrónico, manteniendo sus puertas abiertas después de horas hábiles el Domingo 12 de Agosto de las 7 p.m. a las 9 p.m. Las familias Latinas son animadas a atender esta fiesta para que conozcan al personal bilingue de Best Buy y hagan preguntas sobre sus productos..en cualquier idioma que escogan.

La tienda local de Best Buy ha contratado recientemente varios empleados que hablan Esoañol para servir mejor el creciente  Mercado Hispano en el NorOeste de Florida y está ansiosa de formar una relación más sólida. La mano extendida al mercado de Pensacola se ha convertido en un modelo para otros Best Buys a travéz del estado y el pais.

"Hemos visto crecer la comunidad Latina y estamos excitados que ahora podemos decir que tenemos un gran equipo bilingue para poder servirles mejor," dijo Mindy Gilbert, Gerente de Operaciones de Best Buy en Córdova Mall en Pensacola.

"Presentamos nuestra aventura o otras tiendas de Best Buy en nuestra región y todos ellos quieren  saber más sobre lo que estamos haciendo para poder hacerlo ellos también." ella añadió.

Gilbert está sorprendida que otros negocios no estén haciendo lo mismo.

"Al principio, no sabia por donde empezar," dijo Gilbert, "Pero ha sido sorprendentemente fácil hacer todo esto."

Gilbert trabajó con la empleada, Kathy Burgos, una Colombiana-Americana quien refirió Gilbert a La Costa Latina, el periódico en Español que es distribuido a travéz del Noroeste de Florida.

Gilbert consiguió la ayuda de la publicación para reclutar empleados bilingues y promover el evento. El almacén ahora emplea 6 personas para ayuda al cliente /representantes de venta que son fluidos en Español.

"Es el mejor trabajo que yo he tenido," dijo Burgos.  "Me encanta trabajar aqui."

La Noche Latina en Best Buy incluirá entretenimiento, refrescos y demostraciones  personales de productos y servicios. Participantes en el evento son Verizon Wireless, los Ice Pilots de Pensacola, Baskin Robbins, La Hacienda, Geek Squad y el Programa de Radio en Espanol de WRNE  "Ritmo Latino con Maria Mata".

Best Buy in Pensacola is inviting the Latino community to get to know the electronics retailer by keeping their doors open after hours on Sunday, August 12 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.  Latino families are encouraged to attend the after-hours fiesta to meet the bilingual staff at Best Buy and ask questions about their products . . . in whichever language they choose.

The local Best Buy store has recently hired several Spanish-speaking employees to better serve the growing Hispanic market in Northwest Florida and is anxious to build a stronger relationship.  The market outreach developed in Pensacola has become a model for other Best Buy outlets throughout the state and the country.

"We've seen the Latino community grow in Pensacola, and we're excited that we are now able to say that we have a great bi-lingual staff to serve them better," said Mindy Gilbert, Operations Manager at Best Buy in Pensacola at Cordova Mall.  "We presented our venture to other Best Buy stores in our region, and they all want to know more about what we are doing so that they can do it too," she added.

Gilbert wonders why other retailers aren't doing the same.

"At first, I didn't know where to start," Gilbert said, " But it has been surprisingly easy to do all this."

Gilbert worked with employee, Kathy Burgos, a Colombian-American who referred Gilbert to La Costa Latina, the Spanish-language newspaper that is distributed throughout Northwest Florida.

Gilbert enlisted the help of the publication to recruit bi-lingual employees and promote the event.  The store now employs six customer service/sales representatives who are fluent in Spanish.

"It's the best job I've ever had," Burgos said.  "I love working here."

Latino night at Best Buy will include entertainment, refreshments and special one-one-one demonstrations of products and services.

Participating in the event are Verizon Wireless, the Pensacola Ice Pilots, Baskin Robbins, La Hacienda Restaurant, Geek Squad and WRNE's Spanish radio program "Ritmo Latino with Maria Mata".
