Llamdo a los Artistas - Belmont’s Bizzarre, un show de arte y artesania fuera de lo ordinario, se presentará el 9 de Diciembre ~ Call to Artists - Belmont’s Bizzare, an arts and crafts show out of the ordinary, to be held Dec. 9 (English Version)

El Centro de Artes de Belmont esta aceptando aplicaciones para su Belmont’s Bizarre, un show de artes y artesania fuera de lo ordinario, programado para el Sábado, 9 de Dic. del 2006.

Este show de solamente un día sera presentado de 10 a.m. a 4 p.m. en el Centro de Artes de Belmont, en el 401 de la calle Reus, localizado dentro de la fabrica de ventanas en el centro de Pensacola.

Belmont’s Bizarre, un show de arte y artesanias fuera de lo ordinario, anima a pensar “fuera de la caja” y sirve para asi demonstrar los diferentes tipos de medios y técnicas.

Las aplicaciones debe ser pos marcadas ó entregadas el 12 de Nov., del 2006, y pueden ser obtenidas en las oficinas de Belmont, en la calle 401 N. de Reus, ó por la internet en www.belmontartcenter.com.  Todo los trabajos presentados deben ser los originales, diseñados y ejecutados por el artista.  Artesania basada con algún producto comercial no sera permitida.

Más de 50 artistas del área se esperan que exhiban sus fotografias, pinturas, bosquejos, joyeria, cerámica y mucho más.  Tambien habrá soplo de cristal, se haran demonstraciones de como hacer alfarería dentro del centro Belmont durante el día entero.  Se le dará la oportunidad a los niños de crear su propio ornamento de cristal, ceramica y artesania de los dias ferstivos.

Habra comida y bebida como parte de las festividad.

The Belmont Arts Center is now accepting applications for its Belmont’s Bizzare, an arts and crafts show out of the ordinary, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006.

This one day show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Belmont Arts Center, 401 N. Reus St., located inside the window factory in downtown Pensacola.

Belmont’s Bizzare, an arts and crafts show out of the ordinary, encourages “out of the box” thinking and serves as a forum for the display of various types of mediums and techniques.

Applications must be postmarked or delivered by Nov. 12, 2006, and can be obtained at the Belmont office, 401 N. Reus St., or as a PDF on www.belmontartscenter.com. All work shown must be original, designed and executed by the accepted artist.

Art based on embellishing any commercially produced merchandise will not be permitted.

More than 50 area artists are expected to exhibit their photographs, paintings, drawings, mixed media, jewelry, pottery and more. In addition, glass blowing, glass bead making and pottery demonstrations will be held inside Belmont throughout the course of the day. Children will even be given the opportunity to create their very own glass ornaments, pottery pieces and holiday craft items.

Food booths and beverages will be part of the festivities. Admission is free.
