Censores Van de Puerta en Puerta
Censores de los Estados Unidos harán sus visitas de puerta en puerta en ciertas partes de nuestras área, empezando el Sabado, Mayo 1. Para identificar un Censor oficial del Censo de los Estados Unidos, la siguiente información fué dada por el Buró del Censo:
Los Censores SIEMPRE tendrán un gafete Oficial del Censo de Estados Unidos, con su nombre impreso.
Pueden tener un bolso de "U.S. Census Bureau".
- NUNCA pedirán entrar a su casa.
- SÓLO HARÁN las diez preguntas que aparecen en la forma del censo.
- NUNCA le pedirán su número de Seguro Social o cualquier otra información financiera.
- NUNCA le pedirán o sugerirán que Ud. someta información al censo en linea. No hay sitio legítimo para entrar información del censo.
Si Ud. envió su formulario 2010 del Censo a tiempo, probablemente no será visitado por un censor. Sin embargo, algunas direcciones serán visitadas por censores para un chequeo de calidad del Buró del Censo (Census Bureau).
Todavia tiene duda de la identidad del Censor?
Si por alguna razón Ud. no está seguro de la identidad del censor, inmediatamente llame al Centro Regional del Censo de los Estados Unidos para confirmar que están empleados por el Buró del Censo. Pretender ser empleado del Censo es una felonia federal.

Census Takers Go Door-to-Door
U.S. Census takers will be on their rounds, going door to door in parts of our area, beginning on Saturday, the 1st of May. To identify an official U.S. Census Taker, the following information was provided by the U.S. Census Bureau:
Census takers will ALWAYS have an official U.S. Census ID badge marked with their name.
May have a "U.S. Census Bureau" bag.
- Will NEVER ask to enter your home.
- Will ONLY ask the ten questions that appear on the census form.
- Will NEVER ask for your Social Security number or any other financial information.
- Will NEVER ask or suggest that you submit information to the census online. There is no legitimated web site for entering census information.
If you mailed in your 2010 Census form on time, you probably will not be called on by a census taker. However, some addresses will be visited by census takers for Census Bureau quality control checks.
What if You Still Doubt the Census Worker's Identity?
If for any reason you aren't sure of the census worker's identity, immediately call your regional U.S. Census Center to confirm they are employed by the Census Bureau. Misrepresenting oneself as a census worker is a federal felony. |
